About me

I am a mathematician and quantitative researcher. In my last role, I worked in the portfolio monetisation team at Man AHL, based in London. I left AHL in December 2024 and I am currently looking for quantitative research roles in Zürich, Switzerland.

In spring 2024 I completed my PhD in mathematics at Imperial College London with my thesis titled Coarse Intrinsic and Extrinsic Curvature in Riemannian geometry, supervised by Prof Xue-Mei Li.

In 2019 I graduated with a First Class degree in mathematics (MSci) at Imperial College London with my thesis Whitney Extension Theorem for Regularity Structures (see my portfolio), supervised by Prof Martin Hairer.

I grew up in a small village near Brno, Czech Republic. In 2015, upon graduating from a state grammar school in Brno, I received the competitive scholarship of the the Bakala Foundation, which enabled me to move to London to attend Imperial College.
